Hexis Cyber Solutions to Attend Upcoming Black Hat USA 2015 Conference

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 04, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hexis Cyber Solutions(Hexis), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The KEYW Holding Corporation (Nasdaq:KEYW) and a team of cybersecurity experts delivering integrated cyber defense solutions, will host demos of HawkEye G 3.0 at the Black Hat USA 2015 conference, taking place August 5 and August 6, 2015 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV.

Kicking off its 18th year, the conference will once again serve as the premier gathering of the infosecurity community. Black Hat inspires security professionals across all career levels to educate one another on compelling research, innovative developments and high-profile trend identification and analysis. Industry leaders will come together and collaborate on best practices and in-depth strategies for improving the way IT security is delivered.

As today’s evolving threat landscape has proven, cyber adversaries are waging continuous, active threat campaigns against organizations of all types and size.  Traditional, signature-based security controls are clearly ineffective at detecting today’s targeted attacks.  Organizations are not only struggling with gaining visibility into threats operating inside their environments but are also experiencing detection and response challenges due to alert overload, high false positives, and a shortage of security staff.  To effectively and efficiently detect and respond to cyber threats, organizations require a new approach that integrates behavior-based detection, threat verification, and flexible, policy-based automated response capabilities.  This approach must not only provide integrated capabilities but must also integrate with other existing security controls.   At Black Hat, Hexis Cyber Solutions will be offering demos of HawkEye G, the company’s flagship cybersecurity solution at Booth #458. The demos will showcase HawkEye G 3.0’s ThreatSync™ capability — an open and collaborative framework for threat fusion, analytics and evidence-based detection, verification and response of known and unknown threats.
