Tailored Solutions Aligned to Your Most Urgent ISR Needs
KeyW has extensive experience procuring, modifying, equipping and operating special mission Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to the United States and allied nations. We’ve deployed aircraft to active conflict zones and supported domestic national security missions throughout the world, particularly in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Our myriad sensor system modalities are integrated and used for critical customer missions, including electro-optical, thermal, hyperspectral, synthetic and ground moving target indicator radar,
radio frequency survey and precision geolocation systems.
KeyW manufactures most of these ISR systems in house. We own, operate and maintain the deployed aircraft and ground service equipment, and oversee supplies, sensor operators, pilots, engineers, mechanics and site leads.
High Density LiDAR
KeyW’s Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) sensors are military-grade, commercially available and non-International Traffic in Arms Regulations controlled. KeyW deploys a high-altitude variant, allowing the market’s highest flying heights, for wide-area mapping on a state or national level.
The affordable LiDAR system features industry-leading 1.0 MHz pulse rates, delivering high-density point clouds for general purpose mapping in a fraction of the time with an ~8 km collection swath.
KeyW specializes in collecting scientific-grade, highresolution, accurate electrooptical imagery:
- Resolution up to 2 cm on wide scales
- Accuracy better than 0.5 m
- Timely—imagery is collected when you need it
KeyW also authored the Open Geospatial Consortium, GMLJP2 data specification.
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
KeyW’s KeyRadar® system is uniquely designed for extremely broad-area ISR over land, littoral and maritime regions. Because of its unique radar design, KeyRadar collects all radar modes (i.e., GMTI, DMTI, SAR, SAR-CCD, VideoSAR, VideoCCD and more) over the entire field of view simultaneously.
- P-band (200 to 1,000 MHz)
- L-band (1.0 to 1.5 GHz)
- X-band (7 to 12 GHz)
Our integrated airborne collection solutions are complemented by complete flight services and ongoing sustainment and logistics support. We deploy tailored solutions to meet the most urgent requirements for ISR imagery and high-quality mapping of large areas in some of the world’s most challenging locations. Our fleet suite:
- Fairchild Metroliner (Three)
- Beechcraft King Air 100/350ER (Nine)
- Cessna 172/182/206 (11)
KeyW builds the Aeroptic mapping system, a fully integrated airborne remote sensing platform for highresolution, highly accurate remote sensed data. The platform is designed for users
needing far greater timeliness than either satellite imaging or traditional airborne mapping as well as GIS-grade accuracy and resolution.
